This fall, Home Nursing Agency Foundation in partnership with Mercedes-Benz of State College will present Mission Drive Moment, a car raffle event to benefit the Agency’s Hospice Program and Grief Services for Children, Adults and Families.
Based on the first 3-digit PA Lottery on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 7 p.m., the winner may choose either a new 2014 Mercedes CLA250 coupe or a $30,000 cash prize. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold and tickets are $100 each.
Mercedes Moment has been the Home Nursing Agency Foundation’s signature fundraising event for the past 12 years and will continue to be held each year in May. However, Mission Driven Moment is a second opportunity to win a car or cash and support Hospice and Grief Services.
As a non-profit, community benefit organization, the Home Nursing Agency Foundation’s mission is to provide financial support to create, improve or enhance the programs and services of Home Nursing Agency that ultimately results in a benefit to the individual, family and our community.
Home Nursing Agency is Pennsylvania’s first home health agency to become a Medicare-certified Hospice and meets the needs of patients coping with chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Care is available in a personal residence, nursing facility, hospital or assisted living/personal care home. Specially trained professionals provide Hospice patients and their families a plan of treatment, support, personal care and specialized services. Hospice staff is available 24 hours-a-day, 7 days a week to reduce pain and improve well-being and independence through symptom and pain management, emotional and spiritual support and volunteer and grief support.
An extension of Hospice care, the Agency’s Grief Services provide families with emotional support after the loss of a loved one. Free support groups for adults and families are available throughout the Agency’s 10-county Hospice service area. Grief Services specific for children under 18 years of age are provided through the Healing Patch: A Program for Loss and Hope for Grieving Children and Their Families at two centers and in schools throughout the region.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by downloading this order form; calling the ticket hotline at 1.855.GIVE.HNA (1.855.448.3462); or by visiting Mercedes-Benz of State College, located at 3220 W. College, Ave. Players must be 18 years and older and if the winner chooses the car, they must pay sales tax and title and transfer fees. Additionally, the price of the ticket is not tax deductible.
